At Enactus, you be the change.

We're the Enactus chapter of H.R. College of Commerce & Economics. Since 2009, our students have built small, sustainable businesses with communities, so the change keeps going after we leave.

Entrepreneurial. Action. Us. Enactus.

What is Enactus?

One of 1,600+ chapters worldwide.

Enactus, formerly Students in Free Enterprise, is a community of student, academic and business leaders using entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better, more sustainable world.

EN

Entrepreneurial: igniting business innovation with integrity and passion.

ACT

Action: the experience of social impact that sparks social enterprise.

US

Us: student, academic and business leaders collaborating to create a better world.

MumbaiEnactus H.R. College

We believe in investing in students who take entrepreneurial action for others, to create a better world for us all.

How we work

Not charity. A business that lasts.

We work with communities at the grassroots and build sustainable business models with them. Our projects have reached more than seven states.

Find a need

Visit the community first. Our Charoti visit found 80% of women without adequate sanitary facilities.

Build the model

Design a product or service that pays for itself: kits, credits, products people want to buy.

Run it together

The community does the work and earns from it: stitching kits, recovering plastic.

Measure and grow

Count the kilos, the kits and the lives, then take it further each year.
